number of letter boxes continues to grow.
According to Australia Post the number of Aussie letter boxes grows by
2.5% per year, and by June 2005 they reckon Australia had 9.87 million
"mail delivery points", also known as letter boxes.

In the Australian outback it is not unusual to see
fridges and washing machines as letterboxes but this one at Rainforest
Hideaway B&B in Cape Tribulation had a bit more style. Unfortunately
it is now no longer there as the rain of two wet seasons took their
toll on this unique piece. |
